The Hult Prize @ Vanderbilt Competition
The Hult Prize is a global case competition in which students are placed into interdisciplinary teams from across Vanderbilt’s graduate programs to come up with a business solution to one of humanity’s great challenges. This year’s challenge is “Food for Good: Transforming food into a vehicle for change,” and the aim will be to create jobs, stimulating economies, reimagining supply chains, and improving outcomes for 10,000,000 people by 2030.
On November 13th, your team will pitch your solution to a panel of expert judges for the 2020 Hult@Vanderbilt Competition. Should your team be chosen to advance to the regional round, you will have the opportunity to travel out-of-state and take your idea to the next level! Ultimately, the Hult Prize awards $1 million to the winning team to implement their idea.
Estimated time commitment: 1-2 hours per week in programming, up to 5 additional with group work. This may be slightly higher in late October / early November as you finalize your pitch.
Registration deadline: Tuesday, October 6
Hult@ Vanderbilt Kick-Off (Challenge & Team Reveal): Monday, October 12
Hult@ Vanderbilt Competition: Friday, November 13
