The Center for Entrepreneurship was created after a generous gift from Jack and Carolyn Long in 2016. Our mission is to build and grow a productive entrepreneurial ecosystem conducive to creating new and innovative businesses. 

Here are the ways one can support our mission:

  1. A gift to sustain the Center’s day-to-day engagement of our student entrepreneurs.
  2. Funding to provide stipends and summer grants for students to further develop their business concepts.
  3.   Sponsorship of our annual entrepreneurship conference – held each Spring.
  4.   Underwriting for an entrepreneurial or investment speaking series or workshop.

Join the Vanderbilt Investment Network

The Vanderbilt Investment Network was established to provide opportunities for alumni investors and entrepreneurs as well as Nashville area entrepreneurs and investors to engage with Vanderbilt students.

Through this initiative, we seek to provide students with entrepreneurial insight and experience sharing as well as seed and research capital. Our ultimate aim is to develop a network of angel and institutional investors who enjoy such interactions.

We are always looking for alumni and friends of Vanderbilt to get involved with the Center.

Providing mentorship, network connections, joining the Vanderbilt Investment Network, or hosting an event in your city are vital to growing the startup ecosystem here at Owen.
